elise-mae agneau;
Name: Elise-Mae Agneau

Gender: Female

Species: Human, although some say the French are a species all of their own.

Age: 29

Place of Birth: France

Rank: Civilian (C3)

Branch: Civilian (French Air Force)

Position: Strategist/Diplomat, Atlantis Base

Appearance: With red hair, green eyes, and a short height to match her short temper, Elise-Mae appearence is your first indication to her hot headed personality. It's like Mother Nature was trying to use the warning signals it uses for animals, bright colors equals dangerous, stay away from your own safety.

Personality: Known for her sharp tongue and her sharper temper, Elise-Mae is not known for being the friendlest person at Atlantis. It's not her fault though, she was always taught to speak her mind and if by doing that she appears to come off as rude and blunt, well then, so be it. However, among friends, her softer, more thoughtful side can show. Because of her "infamous" temper though, friends like to tease and call her "May-Day", jokingly refering to airplanes about to crash and suggesting her temper might have something to do with that.

Bio: Born and raised in France, Elise-Mae was never considered a gifted child- in fact she often got in trouble for fighting when she was younger. Her intelligence didn't become appearent until her late teens, when a school assignment on Napoleon sparked her interest in military strategy, which caused her to do some research of her own and come up with a strategic plan so complex that the French Army is still trying to figure out how to best execute it.

From there came the begining of an education revolving around the classic military leaders, from Alexander the Great, to Napoleon, and Sun Tzu. The military tried to snap her up, of course, once she was of age but instead she studied abroad - her most notable place of foreign education being at Berkeley University. It was at Berkeley were she heard a key speaker (some Berkeley almuni who worked at the White House) speaking about politcs and the importance of them in times of war, which caused her to take more of an interest to the diplomatic situations surronding the creation of famous military strategies something she had previously thought to be background information of little relevance until then.

From Berkely and her other world travels, Elise-Mae gained a knack for learning languages and can speak four different languages fluently (French, German, English, and Italian) and curse fluently in 15 others.

It was those qualities that made her perfect for a job working with the UN, and in no time at all she was rising through the ranks of world politics with only her temper holding her back from being a true star.

After a particularly embarrassing outburst, where Elise-Mae publically mocked a powerful country's president's grammar in his face, she lost a lot of politcal weight and influence and began to take more interest in her work as a strategist getting more and more involved with the French military. Eventually her work lead her to the Stargate program, and upon hearing about the Atlantis project she eagerly volunteered herself.

Upon coming to Atlantis Elise-Mae is still the same person her reputation's made her out to be, which is painfully sarcastic, and generally irritable. So far her work has mainly been concerned working on Atlantis's defense system and helping out diplomatically when she's needed, but unofficially she's also taken on the task of cooking proper cuisine because no one else there can make French food the way it should taste.
