Appearance: Average height, Mags has curly, brown hair and a slim build with dark brown eyes.
Personality: It isn't as though she's a difficult person or anything, but just sometimes Mags can be very picky when it comes to certain phrases and certain grammatical errors. Often enough, however, this can get annoying. She's politically correct, and never allows anyone to be sexist or racist in any form, and fusses entirely too much over correct usage of the English language. Aside from all of that, she's a lovely, bright, caring woman.
Bio: Born Margarite Williams, into a small family in Sydney, Mags grew up with two brothers older than her - who, despite their ages - she always tried to teach manners and useful skills to do with the English language. Mags has never let anyone take advantage of her, she's always been the dominant figure.
It wasn't until her college years that Mags finally decided to move down to Melbourne, and that was simply because Melbourne University had the perfect course for her, in astronomy. She met Ellie first, in some nightclub - a night that neither of the two ever told Harrison about - and due to certain circumstances, the girls were forced to find their way home together so as to avoid any trouble.
It was Ellie who gave her the nickname 'Mags', complaining that Margarite was far too long and complicated, and suggesting slight insanity of those who had always called her by her full name. A few weeks later, Mags and Harrison met while Harrison was still dating some other random, unimportant woman.
Harrison and Mags dated for a few years before they were engaged - and the engagement was quite exhausting for everyone involved. On again off again kind of relationship - due to Mags' constant nitpicking of everything Harrison ever said, which he had to learn to deal with.
Of course, there was the little detail of Mags becoming involved in the Stargate project before Harrison and for a few months there, she decided she couldn't keep a thing like that secret from her husband-to-be and so she called off the engagement (for about the fourth time); but once Harrison joined the Stargate project, they realised it didn't matter anymore. Eventually, the pair did get married, much to the relief of absolutely everyone.
